FEVICOL HARDNER C
FOR INFORMATION ONLY

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : FEVICOL HARDNER - C is a non-flammable isocyanate solution.

USES : FEVICOL HARDNER - C is used as a cross linking agent for solvent


borne Polyurethane Adhesives.

TECHNICAL DATA
• Appearance : Dark Brown.
• Odour : Chlorinated Solvent.
• Viscosity : Low viscosity liquid.
• Flammability : Non – flammable.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS : Add required quantity of Hardner C (as per the chart below) to the
polyurethane adhesive and mix thoroughly until uniform colour is
attained. Even though pot life of the mixture is 6-8 hours or more it
is advisable to use the prepared mixture within a reasonable time i.e. 1-2
hours to avoid the effect of solvent evaporation and thickening of the
mixture leading to inferior spreading property. Keep the pot covered
when not in use.

POT LIFE AND CURING TIME : When using Fevicol Hardner - C with appropriate PU adhesive the pot life of
the mixed adhesive is usually 6 - 8 hours at normal room
temperature. This period will be shorter in an open container due to
solvent evaporation.

STORAGE & PRECAUTION : Store under dry condition below 35°C. Fevicol Hardner - C is highly
sensitive to moisture. Containers must therefore be tightly sealed. Care
must be taken to ensure that Hardner - C and mixed adhesives are not
contaminated with water as this could have a severe detrimental effect on
the pot life as well as the bond strengths. A detailed MSDS shall be
available on request.

PACKING : 1kg , 500g, 250g, 50g Aluminium Bottle

SHELF LIFE : Minimum 2 years from the month of manufacture, in the original
sealed container.
