I. TITLE: MAGPAG-ONG BASKETBALL

II. RATIONALE
Basketball is a sport that people all over the world love and enjoy. Basketball requires little equipment
and can be set up anywhere; it can be played both indoors and outdoors. It is also more than just a fun
sport to play. I conduct this training because I want the youths to become more active or establish a
healthy lifestyle and become physically fitted. Basketball is a physical sport that necessitates several
movements in order to execute proactive plays and achieving winning results. Another reason is that, to
help the youth develop and enhance their skills in playing basketball. I want them know that playing and
engaging basketball is not something you should take for granted. On the outside, it may appear to be a
simple exercise, but the benefits may contribute to a fruitful life. I want them also to have and develop
sportsmanship that is why I conduct this training.

III. OBJECTIVES
This training aims to:
1. To help students develop their skills in playing Basketball.
2. To enhance their sportsmanship to other players.
3. To provide a competitive developmental program that includes quality instruction in all aspects
of basketball with an emphasis on fundamental and skills development.
4. To engage the youth in playing basketball.

IV. PARTICIPANTS
Young players of Magpag-ong Batan, Aklan (18yrs.old)

V. DURATION OF TRAINING
Date: May 1-30, 2023 (One Month)
Venue: Magpag-ong Multi-Purpose Pavement

IX. EVALUATION
Based in my training, the result was successful. The said training is really beneficial for the youth of
Magpag-ong Batan, Aklan. All of the players are skilled enough in playing basketball. They really
enjoyed our training. Their skills in basketball were fully developed and they already know what kind of
strategies and techniques they are going to use when they join again in the said sport. They have also
broadened their knowledge in terms of sportsmanship on why is it important to possess and develop it.
And now, my players are very competitive and they are ready in the next game. They were eager to show
their skills in playing basketball. All in all, it was a great training and such a wonderful experienced.
