STORY ONE:
가: 아마도 오빠가 메일 주소를
실수로 잃어 버릴 수도 있고요.

나: 왜 오빠가 메일 쓰는 것을
멈춘 것 같나요?

가: 내가 오빠가 당신에게 메일을

쓰지 않는 것을 어떻게 알겠어요?

나: 저는 그녀 때문인 것을
확신할 수 있겠네요.

가: 다른 이유가 있을 거에요.

나: 어떤 것들이 있을 수 있나요?
STORY ONE:
가: 아마도 당신의 오빠가 당신에게
어떤 이유로 화가 났을 수도 있고요.

나: 그건 아니에요.적어도
타당한 이유가 안되네요.

가: 그가 편지를 보내지 않는 것은 다른
다양한 이유가 있을 수 있지도 모르잖아요.

나: 왜 많은 이유가 있다고 생각하나요?

가: 나는 단지 도와주고 싶어서 그런데,

오빠를 걱정할 필요는 없을 것 같네요.

STORY Two:

가: 얼만큼의 돈을 원하는지요?

나: 몇 번이나 말을 해야 하나요?

가: 더 이상 도움을 줄 수 없네요.

나: 좋아요, 내가 진실을 말하겠어요.

가: 드디어 나오는군요.

나: 나의 오빠는 죽은 사촌으로부터
많은 돈을 받았어요.

가: 그게 나하고 무슨 상관이 이지요?

STORY Two:
가: 나는 오빠가 미혼인지 또는 그 여자와
단지 같이 살고 있는 것인지를
확실히 하고 싶어요.

나: 왜 그것이 그리도 중요한가요?

가: 나는 그 여자가 오빠의 돈을
가져가지 않기를 바래요.
그래서 난 당신의 도움이 필요해요.

나: 비록 같이 산다고 할지라도, 그 돈을
그녀와 함께 한다고는 생각할 수 없는데요.

가: 어떻게 그렇게 장담하죠?

당신은 변호사도 아닌데.

STORY Three:
가: 언제 그녀가 아파트에 이사 왔나요?

나: 글쎄요, 기억이 잘 나지 않는데.

가: 생각을 좀 해주세요.

나: 음, 생각하고 있어요

가: 대충 언제인가요? 알아야겠어요.

나: 아마도 그녀가 거의 2년 전
쯤에 온 것 같아요.

가: 확실해요?

나: 음. 사실 이 아파트는 그녀의 소유에요.

STORY Three:
가: 그녀의 아파트라고요? 놀랍군요!

나: 네, 그녀가 이사온 때가 기억나네요.

11월이었는데, 눈이 오는 날이었지요.

가: 확실해요?

나: 네, 당신의 오빠는 바로 6달
전에 여기로 이사 왔어요.

가: 정말이에요? 어떻게 나의 오빠가

이사온 때를 알아요?

나: 제가 기억하기로 늦은
밤이었고 비가 왔었어요.
STORY Three:

가: 왜 그에게 알렸나요?

나: 그는 매우 시끄러웠어요.
그는 그의 친구들을 데려와서는
이사를 돕게 했는데
너무 시끄러웠지요.
