• Complete the following project of developing a website.

Theme: ‘Sustainable Development Goals’

Subtopic: Zero Hunger (SDG-2)


Despite being self-sufficient in the production of major food commodities, problems of hunger and
food insecurity are grave in India because of widespread economic distress, high unemployment
and high levels of inequality.
The aim of designing this website is to spread knowledge and ways to get good-quality food to
lead a healthy life. We require information on better access to food and the widespread promotion
of sustainable agriculture. Improving the productivity and incomes of small-scale farmers by
promoting equal access to land, technology and markets, sustainable food production systems and
resilient agricultural practices, increased investments through international cooperation to bolster
the productive capacity of agriculture in developing countries can be helpful in achieving the goal
of Zero Hunger.

Learning Outcomes: SWBAT:

•Research on the present food insecurity in India


•Explore and collect data on responsible factors of food hunger and malnutrition in India.
• Find sustainable solutions to stop world hunger.
• Gather information on impact of the pandemic on food insecurity in India.
• Analyze ways to achieve food security and improved nutrition.
• Promote sustainable agriculture.
•Design Web pages to display collected information.
•Collect pictures from your surroundings depicting topic and display in picture gallery of
website
•Connect webpages to make a website.

TASK:

1.Study and Collect information on various above-mentioned parameters.


2. Design a beautiful homepage for the website.
3. Connect all webpages to homepage using hyperlink
4. Add videos and images wherever required.
5. Apply styling effects on website using simple syntax of CSS.
