Examinations may focus on current semester learning, but anything taught in the
Medical Program, relevant to the learning outcomes, is assessable in future
examinations

Things you have been taught in prior semesters will continue to be important
concepts to you as a doctor and will be built on in Years 3 learning and beyond

Before Exams: ‘Do the 5’
1. In Examplify, download the Exam on your device up to two days
prior to the scheduled exam date (needs internet).

2. Update and reboot your computer the night before the exam.

3. Bring your laptop/iPad fully charged and bring your charging


cord to the exam as back-up.

4. On Exam day, close down all other non-essential programs on


your device.

5. Turn off your anti-virus

• Find your anti-virus program and learn to disable it

For trouble-free exams, turn off your antivirus for


the duration of the exam.
• Turn off before you open the exam
• Turn back on after submitting the exam
• The exam is held COMPLETELY OFFLINE so your
• device is not vulnerable during the exam
• We will remind you after the exam to turn back on
your anti-virus
Medical Program Rules of Assessment and Progression
To Pass Year 2 and Progress to Year 3

Achieve a score equal to or higher than the cumulative cut-score


across all examinations including written exams plus Clinical
Practice and OSCE assessments combined

Achieve a score equal to or higher than the cumulative cut-score


across all in-semester assessments

Achieve pass in all competency-based assessments

3.1 Meet attendance requirements – or you may not be permitted to


participate in the final examination/s
(Aligned to 3.3.4 Bond University Assessment Policy)
• There are Resit exams only on completion of all Year 2 subjects.

• Regardless of results in non-progression semesters, students


continue in the program through to their progression semester.
This provides the opportunity to remediate poor performance in
examinations by doing better in subsequent semesters
