II. BACKGROUND / SITUATION ANALYSIS

The high cost of traditional cooking fuels such as coal and LPG and the negative impact on the
environment prompted the development of the Smart Solar Cooker, a renewable energy cooking
solution for low-income households in rural areas like in Arayat Pamp.

III. INVENTION OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVES STRATEGIES

These are the three best ● Our research was the foundation and the basis in doing this
objective in the invention: project that we will surely ensure the effectiveness in any
sector especially in our environment.
1. To save not just in money
but also our environment in ● The SPPPHI (Solar Philippines Power Projects Holdings Inc.)
the issue of getting worse from is one of the companies that will be chosen to be a partner on
climate change. this invention.

2. To be more resourceful in ● We will be considerate in any plan we are doing; Using a

the manner of the new source brainstorming activity, I can identify and swiftly examine
energy (solar) using it on a several ideas for enhancing and gaining further insights, such
daily basis. as this Smart Solar Cooker.

3. To develop our traditional

way of cooking in the near
modern future that is more
efficient and durable.
IV. DESIRED IMPACT AND OUTCOME OF THE INVENTION

In the general impact and outcome of this invention depends largely on the nature and
scope of the project, Some of the common desired impacts and outcomes of an invention
includes:

1. Solving a specific problem: this invention is usually developed to solve a

particular problem in income. The desired impact of an invention is to provide a
solution to help families in rural areas.
2. Improvement of existing technology: Invention can be developed to improve
upon an existing technology, making it more efficient and effective.
3. Betterment of society: this new invention is developed to make a positive impact
on society, such as new renewable inventions that offer better help for the
environment.

VIII. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION/ILLUSTRATION DRAWING

An electric stovetop uses an element that is cycled on and off to maintain a certain
temperature. This switch is known as an "infinite switch" since it potentially has an endless
number of heat adjustments. This switch includes a built-in heater that warms a bimetal
switch. A cam connected to the control knob adjusts the spring tension on the bimetal,
which changes the amount of heat required to activate the switch

ILLUSTRATION/DRAWING:

The heat source within the switch is on while the heating source is on. The contacts open as
the bimetal and element both heat up. Once the connections are closed once more, the
bimetal cools with the components.

Additionally, there are switches with preset temperatures that change the voltage coming in
that direction
