Thesis Statement/Central Idea: Area 51 hides aliens and extraterrestrial objects as multiple reports have

Patterns of Development: Exemplification

I. INTRODUCTION
a. Opening technique/attention-getter
b. “What if” question
a. What if there was a place on Earth where aliens are hidden? (To provide some sense of
mysteriousness and curiosity among readers)
c. Specific purpose of your speech/main idea
a. To inform readers about Area 51 and the conspiracy theories/mysteries regarding it.
d. Preview of the key points to be discussed.
a. Sightings/reports of unusual objects (usually aircraft) in Area 51 by multiple people.

II. BODY
1. Key Point 1 and supporting details.
a. It is an over-secured facility.
i. Area 51 is not accessible to the public and is under 24 hours of surveillance.
On top of that, to add to its secrecy, satellite imagery of the installation was
censored until 2018.

2. Key Point 2 and supporting details.

a. Its existence was kept hidden and secret.
i. Area 51’s existence was only confirmed and acknowledged by the U.S
government in 2013 where in fact it goes as far back as the 1950s.

3. Key Point 3 and supporting details.

a. Reports of UFO sightings in the vicinity
i. A man named Bob Lazar blew the whistle when he claimed that he was hired
to reverse engineer an extraterrestrial aircraft inside Area 51, and he also
claimed that the U.S government had, in its possession, nine crashed or
captive spacecraft from another world — at least one of them shaped like an
actual saucer.
III. CONCLUSION
a. Wrap-up of the key points discussed.
i. I would like to make this blog as mysterious and curiosity-striking as possible
so I will even put “mysterious” sentences in the conclusion.
ii. “Area 51 remains a mystery to us all, will we ever find answers? Who
knows….”
b. Closing technique to be used.
i. -The closing technique will be in the form of a question.
ii. “Believe what you want but I will leave this question just for you to answer,
will you believe Bob Lazar or not? The answer is waiting to be found.”
1. Since I will not claim whether the reports/sightings are true or not, I
will leave it up to the readers’ decisions.
