Here we will see how we can develop our customized LMS in a live server.
Install MOODLE
Step-1
Step-2:
After that it will provide us an interface like this one. And we will now go to our
manage option. And install an LMS “MOODLE”.
Step-3:
Now we will go to our control panel. And install our LMS from softacolous.

Then we will found a interface like this one. Which is our “MOODLE” interface.
This is our home page. We can customized the color ,theme, logo as well. Now lets
see how we can design our own LMS.

Step-5:
We have to log in with our account( as administrator) to change the design, layout
of our LMS. We will log in from here with our user name and password.

Now we have to enable he edit mode so that we can customize each options as per
our need.

Theme Customization
Step-1
We can change the theme of our LMS as per our need. We can simply go to site
administration and install a theme plugin from there. We will install the theme
ACADEMY.

Step-2
Now we can simply change the color of our header, change the slider of our LMS,
and also can change the footer part of our LMS. We will find this option from
appearances Theme Setting Theme selector.

Step-3
Here we will select our theme and customized it as per our need. We can change
each and every part of our theme from header to footer.

Course Creation
Step-1
Now we will se how can we create our courses. We will go to the option from Site
Administration Courses Add a new course.
Step-2
We will select all the general information of our course here and save the changes.
Thus our course is created.

Enroll Users
Now we will see how we can enroll users (Teachers, students,
Admin) in our LMS.
Step-1
We will go to the option from Site Administration users Add a new user. We
can add bulk users or even browse the users from this option.

Lets see how to add an user from this option. We will provide all the information
of the user and create the user from here.
Here we added our new use as a teacher of this course. We can select the users
from here and enroll them in our courses as per our need.
Course Management
Now we will see how can we manage our courses in LMS.

Step-1
we will select our course. Then select the setting from here as per our need.
Step-2
Let’s see how can we add activities in our courses. We will go to courses
General or Topic Add an activity or resources. We can also change the topic
name from here as our wish.

We can simply select activity or resources and add the activities to our courses
from this option.
Step-3
We can add general setting of our quiz or activities from here and them simply we
can add questions on our quiz. For That We will go to courses General or Topic
Add an activity or resources Quiz.

Now we will simply add our question from question bank. Here we added our
question as MCQ.

In the same way we can add files or other resources from here like book, PPT, File,
Database or even folders.
Other Plugins
We can add other important plugins to our LMS:
attendance and
Big Blue Button
The attendance plugin will help us to take the attendance of our students, and the
big blue button will help us to take live classes.
We can simply install them as we install the theme plugin. Here we downloaded
our important plugins from moodle plugin directory.
