Young people today play an essential role in realizing the hopes and

aspirations of a society striving to establish its own identity. Inasmuch as

upbringing is complex in its objectives, institutions, and functions, it is
equivalent to preparing an individual to be a social being and a member
of a particular society. It is at this point that the role of the family
becomes apparent, as it is the first incubator through which an
individual is prepared for his future role in society. As part of a family’s
routine, one learns how to be a constructive interlocutor as well as how
to take an objective approach to solving the problems that arise every
day. In upbringing, values and positive attitudes are instilled towards
adhering to the laws and norms of society. In some cases, however, some
families lose some of their functions, and these upbringing duties are
then passed to other specialized educational institutions overseen by
administrative, financial, and educational policies.
The concept of socialization has occupied the attention of scholars
because of its perceived association with a wide range of multifaceted
aspects of human life. These are dimensions that provide insight into the
interrelationship between the forms of upbringing, culture, and
humanity found in such varied spheres. We have the social dimension,
which impacts a variety of social phenomena, such as the division of
labor and the nature of social conflict. In addition, there is the
psychological dimension, which is concerned with individual tendencies
as well as social interaction, acquiring behavior commensurate with his
social roles, and acquiring the norms and directions that will allow an
individual to integrate into society. Lastly, there is the educational
dimension, which focuses on the results of behavior as well as methods
for transforming natural organic behavior to human behavior.
