1. Given that 𝒑 = 2𝒊 + 3𝒋 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝒒 = 𝒊 + 5𝒋, determine

i) The product of the two vectors
ii) The angle between the two vectors.

2.
a. The position vectors of two points, P and Q, relative to an
origin O, are 10𝒊 − 8𝒋 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝜆𝒊 + 10𝒋 respectively, where 𝜆 is a
constant. Find the value of 𝜆 such that OP and OQ are
perpendicular.

b. The position vectors of two points, A and B, relative to an

origin O, given by 𝑶𝑨 = −2𝒊 + 𝟓𝒋 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑶𝑩 = 3𝒊 − 7𝒋,
respectively. Find the unit vector in the direction of AB.

3. The position vectors of two points, A and B, relative to an origin

O, are such that 𝑶𝑨 = 3𝒊 − 2𝒋 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑶𝑩 = 5𝒊 − 7𝒋. Determine
i) The unit vector AB
ii) The acute angle AOB, in degrees, to one decimal place.

4. The position vectors of two points, A and B, relative to an origin

O, are such that 𝑶𝑨 = 2𝒊 + 𝒋 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑶𝑩 = 3𝒊 − 5𝒋, where 𝒊 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝒋
represent the unit vectors in the 𝑥 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑦 directions
respectively. Calculate
