1. Define Ethical Leadership.


Ethical leadership is a form of leadership that prioritizes ethical considerations
and upholds moral values and principles in decision-making and behavior.
Ethical leaders act with integrity and honesty, promote fairness and justice, and
demonstrate accountability and responsibility towards their followers and
stakeholders. It aims to create a positive impact on their organizations and
society as a whole, rather than pursuing personal gain or interests at the
expense of others.

2. How to become an Ethical Leader?


Becoming an ethical leader requires a combination of personal traits, skills, and
knowledge. Here are some steps to help students like me to become an ethical
leader:
 Develop a strong moral compass: Ethical leaders should have a clear
sense of right and wrong and understand the values and principles that
guide ethical behavior.
 Lead by example: Ethical leaders should model the behavior they expect
from their followers and hold themselves to high ethical standards.
 Foster a culture of ethics: Ethical leaders should create an environment
that values and promotes ethical behavior and encourages open
communication and feedback.
 Make ethical decisions: Ethical leaders should use ethical decision-making
processes that take into account the interests of all stakeholders and
consider the long-term consequences of their decisions.
 Continuously learn and improve: Ethical leaders should seek out
opportunities to learn about ethical leadership and continually reflect on
their own behavior and decision-making.
 Build relationships based on trust and respect : Ethical leaders should
prioritize building relationships with their followers based on trust, respect,
and transparency. They should listen to feedback and respond to concerns
with empathy and fairness.

By following these steps, it can become an ethical leader who makes a


positive impact on the organization and society.
