PROJECT DESIGN

Project Title: Project PAKLI (Provide Active Knowledge in Literacy Innovation)


Problem Statement: Out of 94 pupils from Grade 1-6, 21 of them were categorized as
non-readers or frustration readers in Filipino.
Objective Statement: 1. Reduce the number of frustration or non-readers in Filipino of Grade 1 to
6 pupils of Malobago Elementary School.
2. Develop and provide teaching devices/ instructional materials to Grade 1
6 pupils of Malobago Elementary School.
3. Give orientation and background on the remedial reading to students and
parents to support and stimulate students love for reading.
Root Causes: Poor reading habits, unmotivated pupils, lack of parents’ assistance at home
