ANS

Critical thinking
1. What is the significance of the existence of the Day of Judgment?

Ans. One who believes in the existence of the Day of Judgement knows that he is going to be
called to account for whatever he has done, big or trivial, and he is going to be either punished
or rewarded in the end. And thus, he leads his life in accordance with this .
2. What are the results you can see in a Muslim who believes in the Day of Judgment?
Ans. Believing in the existing of another life after death has a great impact on man’s life, behavior and
morals. Those who believe in the hereafter perform good deeds despite the difficulties they might face.
They also avoid doing evil deeds, even if they are easy to do.

3. Why did Allah make the bliss of the hereafter different from the bliss of this world?

Ans. Allah make the bliss of hereafter different from the bliss of the world to attract believers towards
more good deeds. Allah wants that his believers think about the bliss of hereafter and patiently do good
deeds despite of fatigue and hardship.

4. Why didn’t Allah tell us the date of the Day of Judgment?

Ans. Allah wants to see his true believers on the day of Judgement who perform good and charitable
deeds without knowing the date of the day of Judgement. The believers have always fear of their lord
and they are always prepared for the day of Judgement. That is why Allah did not tell us the date of
Judgement.

HOTS

1. What would happen for a sinner who repents in this world?

Ans. The sinner who will repent in this world for their bad deeds and ask forgiveness, Allah will
forgive their sins (In Sha Allah).

2. Mention the important things that are going to happen on the Day of Judgment which are
mentioned in Surah Zalzalah.
Ans. In Surah al Zalzalah it is mentioned that on the day of Judgement the Earth will be shaken with
its final earthquake. And the Earth discharges its burdens. That day, the people will depart
separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

3. What is the difference between the bliss of this world and the world here after?

Ans. The life of this world is not permanent. It will end and the bliss of the world will also end. Allah
has mentioned in Quran that the believers will see the bliss of paradise that has never occurred to
the heart of any human being. The bliss of hereafter is for forever and the believers will live in
paradise forever happily.

Real Life Question

knowledge of their owner. After spending the money, he regretted what he did, so he wanted to
repent. What advice you can give to Sabir?

Ans. I will tell Sabir that first he should ask forgiveness to Allah and promise to himself that he
will never repeat this act again. He should go and tell the truth to his owner and say sorry to
