Every person has a favorite hobby, and traveling is no exception.

I've always wanted to take my

family on a trip since I enjoy exploring new places. I visited Coxs Bazar last year with my
family. One of my favorite vacations of all time was that one. Today, Cox's Bazar is one of the
most-visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh.

Cox's Bazar, a district in the Chittagong

Division, is well known for having the
world's longest stretch of uninterrupted
sandy beaches. It is 150 kilometers south
of Chittagong, a commercial port. With a
length of 121 kilometers, Cox's Bazar's
sea beach is the longest in the world.
Captain Cox, the company's founder, is
the source of the name Cox's Bazar. In
1798, he created the incredibly
picturesque beach. The Cox's Bazar beach
was formerly a modest port and wellness
destination.
In order to go to Coxs Bazar we started our journey at 9.00 am, By the time 9.30 am we arrived
at the airport and it was a quick journey we departed at 11.00 am.

We arrived at Coxs Bazar by 11.45 am. After

arriving at Coxs Bazar we reached the hotel
by 12.30 pm. After that we went to the beach
it was one of the most magnificent views I
have ever seen
After that I went to have my dinner, I went to a local restaurant at Coxs Bazar to try out some
regional cuisines and it was very good.
As it was late, I went to bed the next day I went to Maheskhali. Maheskhali is an island off the
coast of Cox's Bazar. It has an area of 268 square kilometers.

Through the center of the island and along the

eastern coastline rises a range of low hills, 300
feet high; but the coast to the west and north is a
low-lying treat, fringed by mangrove jungle. In
the hills on the coast is built the shrine of Adinath, dedicated to Shiva. By its side on the same
hill Buddhist Pagoda.
The next day we went to Saint Martin’s. It was a short trip but memorable. We went to Saint
Martin’s by ship. We started our journey at 7.00 am in the morning. By 9.00 am we arrived at the
ship station. While going I saw a lot of natural beauty as it was early morning so the beaches
were not crowded so it was very pleasant for the eyes to see the beaches. St. Martin is generally
known as “Narikel Zinzira” in Bengali, which means 'Coconut Island’ and this is the only coral
reef island in Bangladesh. It is a small island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal,
creating the southernmost part of our country. It is about 8 km west of the northwest coast of
Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf River.

It is only 8 sq. Kilometre in size. Experts separate this island into three parts. The northern part
is called Narikel Jinjira. It is 2. 134 km long and 1, 402 m wide. The southern part is called
Dakkhin Para by the locals and its length and width are successively 1929 m and 1890 m. The
middle part which known as Maddhapara locally. The length and width respectively 1524m and
518m. The island is very much ingenious with vast biological variables such as existing fauna
and flora corals, Mollusk, Fish, Amphibian, Turtles, Snails, birds,s and Mammals. Besides the
above coconut tree is an important cash crop. While traveling to Saint Martin’s through the sea I
luckily got the corner sit so we see a lot of seagull birds and we give the birds food they were so
close to us that we can touch them, 1.00 we arrived.

The water of Saint Martins was so clear that we can even see underwater so it was quite a view.
The resorts in Saint Martins were very much aesthetic and naturally friendly. We went back to
our ship by 3.00 pm, I stayed at Saint Martin very short time but it will always be in my mind.
By 7.00 pm we arrived at Cox’s Bazar and by 8.00 pm we arrived at our hotel. After that, I went
on a night walk with my cousins at a beach. The beach looks very different at night. The waves
are very much scary and the sound of the waves is very roaring compared to day.
After that day, I went to visit Ramu and Himchari. Ramu typical Buddhist village, about 16 km
from Cox's Bazar, on the main road to Chittagong. There are monasteries, khyangs, and pagodas
containing images of Buddha in gold, bronze, and other metals inlaid with precious stones. The

village has a charm of its own. Weavers ply their trade in open workshops and craftsmen make
handmade cigars in their pagoda-like houses.
Himchari It is about 32 km south of Cox's Bazar along the beach, a nice place for a picnic and
photo-shooting. The famous "Broken Hills" and waterfalls here are rare sights. It was the last day
of my journey
The day of coming back home as my bus was at night so I visited the fish
aquarium which was situated close to my hotel. It was one of the most
educational and interesting places I have ever seen. There were many kinds
of fish and also there were many new species of fish I saw there were also
various types of turtles and also lobsters. Which I have not seen ever so it
was a very special experience for me.
When going to the Coxs Bazar i witnessed many types of pollutants around me. It was so much
traffic that it took us more than 2 hours to arrive at the airport when it’s just a 20-minute ride
from my home. Due to traffic, there was a lot of car standing out so there was a lot of noise and
air pollution around me. Even though the airport was not that clean there was waste around the
dustbins, and people, are not careful enough to put the waste in the dustbin.

As staying in Coxs Bazar I have seen many kinds of pollutants happening around me.
Bangladesh’s most popular tourist city, Cox's Bazar, is under severe environmental threat plastic
waste, experts have said. Some 124 tons of waste, including plastic, are being removed from
Cox's Bazar city on a daily basis.
Due to the current fishing prohibition, there are no fishing boats in the Bay of Bengal. In the
monsoon, the sea gets rough. Meanwhile, a significant amount of plastic waste, electronics
waste, and trawler-damaged fishing nets are floating ashore. At Kolatali Point, some mother
turtles were also floating ashore with the trash.

So this is one of the major problems for our environment as people are polluting more are more
day by day our natural environment one day all of this will be destroyed. As a caring citizen, it is
our responsibility to take care of all this .So, How can we prevent all this pollution?
First of all, we have to be aware people about our environment, without the awareness of people,
no one can save the environment. Also, the government has to take steps like making strict laws
about environmental pollution and also can increase taxes on cars so people will buy fewer cars
so there will be fewer traffic jams and so there will be less noise and air pollution.

Also, in order for waste management government should step up dustbins for different categories
of types of waste like liquid, solid, and normal waste. So this way waste management will be
much easy and it will be very helpful to the environment.
around beaches so people through the waste around them so government should take this step. So
by taking these kinds of steps I think we can prevent some of the pollutants and do something for
the environment.

It was a very good experience for me. I enjoyed the journey a lot. As i have seen how people are
gradually polluting our environment daily but apart from that, i have also seen the natural beauty
of our Coxs Bazar. So overall it was a very good experience for me and I will cherish this
experience my entire life. For me, it was a lifetime experience
