Describe a place that has made an impression on you

I have always dreamt of seeing an ocean. I have read articles, stories about oceans and beaches, but never
saw one physically. One day I got the opportunity to go to the ocean with my family in real life. That was
an amazing experience of my life.
In September 21, 2019 my family and I went to Cox’s Bazar. I saw the ocean for the first time in my life.
I was amazed by the beauty and the vastness of the ocean. I will never forget that moment in my life.
There were a lot of people enjoying themselves in the beach. Some were wading through the water. We
first fixed the big umbrella in the sand. My brother and I could not wait to enjoy the cool weather. We
decided to take a walk on the beach. It was quite windy. The wind came from the sea soothe our tired
soul. We loved walking on the sand. The sound of the surfing waves at short intervals was amazing. We
decided to sit down and just listen to the sound. The peaceful surrounding gave us a calm and soothing
feeling .The sand, turquoise water of the sea and the azure sky were making it a pleasant sight. I took a lot
of pictures with my camera. I heard somebody calling me. I looked around and saw that my friends were
already enjoying in the water. I ran fast and dived into the water. We had a great time splashing water on
each other, swimming and playing games. We were lucky to see some small fishes swimming near the
shore. We tried catching them with our hands but they slipped away. We saw small crabs walking on the
beach. We collected sea shells to remember the ocean when we would go back home.
After a while, we came out of the water and we had lunch. The lunch we had was too tasty. I had
Calamari Fritters and Lobster Malay Curry. Among the two dishes, the Lobster was the best. We finished
our lunch and decided to rest for a while under the shade. After a while, we had crab fries beside the
beach. Fresh juices and crab fries taste truly fantastic.
Few minutes later we walked towards the ocean to see the sun set. Here the sky and the sea meet together
as they embrace each other. I remember the whole experience vividly in my mind. It was mesmerizing.
Just before the sunset, a flock of birds flew in the sky. The sky gradually turned red and all of a sudden
the warm air turned into cold air. When the light of the sun fell down to the sand at sunset, it looked like
the sand is not as if they were pearl. The sun turned into a red yolk and was swallowed by the ocean. It
got dark around me and it was the end of the day.
Later that night, we came back to Dhaka and the trip was over. I will never forget the first sight of ocean
in my life.
