Mars Constitution
The Constitution of the Free Planet of Mars

Preamble
We the people of the Free Planet Mars of under the mandate of The United
Nations, having firmly and solemnly resolve, to live in unity and harmony as one
indivisible and indissoluble sovereign planet under the rule of the people,
dedicated to the promotion of inter-galactical solidarity, universal peace, inter-
galactical co-operation and understanding,

And to provide for a Constitution for the purpose of promoting the good
government and welfare of all persons in our country, on the principles of
freedom, equality and justice, and for the purpose of consolidating the unity of
our people,

Do hereby make, enact and give to ourselves the following Constitution:-

Section One- Basic Principles of the State
1. The Free Planet of Mars is peaceful planet and the planetary home of the
Martian People, wherein the Martian People fulfill their yearning for self-
determination in accordance with the constitution of the planet. (Israel)

2. The Free Planet of Mars is a democratic planet, which respects human rights
in the spirit of the Martian principles of freedom, justice, integrity, and peace.

3. The State's sovereignty inheres in its citizens. (Israel)

4. The Preamble is an integral part of this Constitution. The Preamble may never
be altered except by a two-thirds majority of the Planetary Assembly. (Israel)

Section 2- The Provision of Government


1. The Free Planet of Mars is a Unitary Parliamentary Republic.

2. The Free Planet of Mars shall be governed by a unicameral parliamentary


government representing the people.

3. The legislative powers of the Free Planet of Mars shall be vested The
National Assembly of the Free Planet of Mars.(Nigeria)

4. The National Assembly shall have power to make laws for the peace,
order and good government of the Planetor any part thereof with respect
to any matter included in the Exclusive Legislative List set out in Part I of
the Second Schedule to this Constitution.(Nigeria)
