Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that DCOC has now changed the ordering code for seal kits of
solenoid operated cartridge valves.

Originally the seal kit for solenoid valves with brand “Edi System” was created replacing the initial
letter O of the code of the solenoid valve with the letter K; even though this was an easy and
intuitive method, it created several different codes composed of the same kind of seals.
In the past this method was based on the assignation of a seal kits code for each local code and
not for each scheme.

From now on, it will be adopted a new method which divides the kits according to definite features;
all the existing similar combinations will be grouped under a single code, allowing a more flowing
and faster order management.

The single code that characterized the mentioned seal kits starting with KD…. code, has been
now divided into two different codes: first code regarding the body of the valve, the second code
regarding the pilot. In every kit DCOC has provided to collect the seals of 10 solenoid operated
valves.

In combination with current document please find a conversion schedule concerning the update
which will help you finding the new RG codes. Just entering the old reference code starting with
KD, you will find the new codes for body and pilot.

processed for code starting with KD…; please start immediately to introduce our new DCOC part
numbers in your purchasing orders.

Kits will be divided according to:

• Cavity type:
• O-Ring compound
• Backup ring compound
• Backup ring types
• Minimum quantity 10 pcs

Each data sheet of our solenoid operated valves is provided with the information of the new seal kit
code and material number.
