HOLY CHILDHOOD DAY CELEBRATION 2023

The Parish Priest, Parish Pastoral Council, Our Dear Parents and the Entire Congregation of
Holy Family Catholic Church. Good Morning

This year happens to be the maiden edition of the holy childhood celebration since the creation
of our Quasi Parish and it is going to be celebrated annually. This is an international celebration
for children, it is also known as world missionary childhood day for children. It is an
opportunity to support children from all over the world without distinction. The society of Holy
childhood is one of the four pontifical mission societies present in more than 130 countries

around the world, with the motor ‘’Children Evangelize Children, Children
Pray For Children, Children Help Children All Over The World.
The missionary childhood society aims to help children develop a missionary spirit, vocations
and protagonist; encourages them to share their faith and material means especially with the
neediest children; promotes, supports missionary vocations and create awareness in children to
get to know Jesus and the Word of God. The slogan for this year is ‘’ the mission is done
together’’ from the verse ‘’ you will be my witnesses’’. (Acts 1:8).

Our theme for this year is ‘‘Communion’’ Since the Mission Is Done Together. Children by
virtue of their baptism are aware that we are members of a single body.

On this note, I duly launched the 2023 Holy Childhood Day Celebration In The name Of God the
Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Come next week 14/05/2023 our children service will take part in the Holy Mass and performs
other activities. Let us come to cheer them up, support them and help them to grow in the faith of
God, for the mission is done together. We will also celebrate our mothers, our dress code will be
our children service Lacoste.
