A children's oratory is a dedicated institution committed to fostering the spiritual, educational, and
recreational development of children and youth. Its operational structure and guiding principles are inspired by
the teachings of Don Bosco, known as the Father of Youth. Salesian parishes across the nation are actively
engaged in this practice, aiming to establish strong connections with children and encourage their active
participation in church activities.

Now, the Youth Ministry Catechist, in collaboration with other youth members from Sibao, Yabu, and
Panicuason, is excited to announce the official launch of the Don Bosco Children's Oratory at Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Parish. This significant event is scheduled for September 30, 2023, coinciding with the
celebration of the 33rd Parish Foundation Anniversary. The Grand Opening of the Children's Oratory will
provide a glimpse of the weekly oratory activities that will continue after the inauguration. The primary
objectives of this project are as follows:

1. Inaugurate and celebrate the Grand Opening of the Children's Oratory.

2. Foster increased engagement of children residing within the parish in church-related activities.
3. Offer enjoyable experiences to children while imparting the teachings of our Lord.

In light of these goals, we humbly extend our reach to you to seek support for making this event a
reality. Specifically, we kindly request for sponsorship to provide meals for the 150 children expected to attend
the opening of the Children's Oratory at our Parish. Your generous assistance will greatly contribute to the
success of this meaningful endeavor.
