IMPLEMENTATION OF UNIVERSAL HEALTH LAW IN THE PHILIPPINES AND ITS IMPACT ON THE PUBLIC HEALTH

The implementation of the Universal Health Law in the Philippines is predicted to have a substantial impact on public health. The bill aspires to grant admittance
to all Filipinos regardless of their financial situation, to high-quality and affordable medical care administrations. This suggests that more people will wish to manage
the cost of what they require such as preventive measures, clinical treatments, and drugs to maintain their high level of well-being.
Furthermore, the Universal Health Law promotes infection prevention through community-based programs and exercises. It tackles environmental variables that
have an impact on public health, such as air pollution and inadequate sanitation, and promotes healthy behaviors. By emphasizing preventative measures, the UHC
Law might reduce the prevalence of preventable illnesses and improve overall well-being outcomes among Filipinos. Additionally, this law is a step toward achieving
universal health coverage and ensuring that everyone has access to basic medical care administrations without having to worry about money.
The implementation of the Universal Health Law in the Philippines has resulted in numerous benefits for Filipinos. One of the most notable advantages is
increased access to healthcare services for all individuals, regardless of financial position. This shows that high-quality medical care is still available to those who
cannot afford expensive treatments or procedures. This law has also decreased patients' out-of-pocket payments because it covers a large range of medical services and
pharmaceuticals.
The additional benefit of the Universal Health Law is the general improvement in the nature of the country's medical care administrations. The government has
spent a significant amount of money to improve public health facilities, train medical workers, and provide medical supplies and equipment. This has resulted in a
better comprehension of the outcomes and an increase in future rates in various places throughout the Philippines. As a result, chronic diseases are being recognized
earlier for increased access to preventative care and frequent examinations, leading to cheaper treatment costs and improved patient outcomes. In general, the adoption
of the Universal Health Law transformed the Philippines' health care system.
