    Dear Sir,

    I please to inform you that my second contract will end this coming DATE. I am formally writing
    to you to request for a salary increase. This is Due to the continuously rising cost of living
    standards in the country, which has made the basic needs goes up (housing rent, basic food
    etc..) and also, I am pleased to inform you that we have been blessed with a baby to be born on
    October, and with that, I will have additional expenses. I would like to request for a (AMOUNT)
    increase.
