Siete Sopas is one of the reviewer's favorite Peruvian restaurants in Lima, known for its friendly service and traditional dishes. The reviewer's favorite is Caldo de Gallina, a popular chicken soup served with noodles, potato, chicken, vegetables and boiled eggs alongside toasted corn, chives and lemon. Sometimes spicy, it has a simpler preparation than Menestrón, a green soup made with various cooked meats and vegetables like spinach, and thus takes less time to make than Menestrón, though the reviewer finds Caldo de Gallina to be more delicious.

One of my favorites restaurants is “Siete Sopas”, it has
many branches in Lima. In this restaurant they sell typical Peruvian food. The service is friendlier than other restaurants in its category. My favorite dish on the menu is Caldo de Gallina, one of the most popular varieties of soup in Perú, its salty and hot. It’s prepared with cooked noodles, potato, chicken some vegetables and boiled eggs. The dish is served with toasted corn, chives, and lemon. Often chili pepper is added, so it can be spicy too. Another dish on the menu is Menestrón is a green soup, it is prepared with cooked meat and vegetables such as spinach. Caldo de Gallina is easier to prepare than Menestrón, because Menestrón has a greater variety of ingredients than Caldo de Gallina. Menestrón has a longer preparation time than Caldo de Gallina. In my opinion, Caldo de Gallina is more delicious than Menestrón.
