The above chart is only a guide. For proper loading use the flicker test for neon or a neon and mercury combination, the secondary
voltage test as outlined on pages 39 and 40, or our Selektor
- Each pair of electrodes equals 1 additional foot of length.
- Helium footages should be calculated at 50% of neon footages.
- For trouble-free operation, the tubing on each transformer should operate without flicker at 78% of rated primary voltage
(approximately 94-volts at a nominal line voltage of 120).
