ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. TITLE OF ACTIVITY:
“ Understanding the RPMS SY 2022-2023
II. RATIONALE:

The demand for teaching and learning has changed for the School
Year 2020-2021 as a result of the impact of COVID-19. Education institutions,
including the Department of Education (DepEd), shifted focus to delivering
education remotely through various distance learning delivery modalities
(DLDMs). The current efforts of the Department, its schools and workforce,
are towards developing learning resources and upskilling and retooling
teachers to support the DLDMs adopted by schools. As the learning delivery
changes, so do the duties of teachers to their learners and the performance
expected of them. The expectations of teachers must be captured in their
performance assessment through a more contextualized Resultsbased
Performance Management System (RPMS).The demand for teaching and
learning has changed for the School Year 2020-2021 as a result of the impact
of COVID-19. Education institutions, including the Department of Education

System (RPMS).

Thus, teachers has to be oriented thoroughly on the DM-PHROD-


2021-0010 entitled “Guidelines on the Implementation of the Results-based
Performance Management System (RPMS) for School Year (SY) 2020-
2021,” especially on the adjustments made in the RPMS for teachers in the
time of COVID-19, including its tools, processes, and protocols.
In response to this, the Pagsilaan Elementary School will conduct a
LAC session entitled “ Understanding the RPMSSY 2020-2021 in the time
of COVID-19” to all Pagsilaan Elementary School teachers on October 19,
2022 at Pagsilaan Elementary School, Holy Cross, Manay, Davao
Oriental.

III. OBJECTIVES

1. Identify modifications in RPMS, its tools, processes, and protocols, for SY 2022-
2023.
2. Understand the development of RPMS in the context of COVID-19
3. Identify the 19 PPST priority indicators chosen as RPMS objectives for SY 2022-
2023
4. Craft the Phase 1 IPCRF-DEVELOPMENTAL PLAN SY 2022-2023
