Following the amendment of the school calendar and activities for the school
year 2021 – 2022 by virtue of DepEd Order no. 12, s. 2021, an In-Service Training
of Teachers shall be performed with the intention to promote and highlight strategies
for the effective delivery of teaching and learning processes amid the existence of
pandemic.
Aligned with the current adjustments that teachers have been adapting with
in these past months in addressing the immediate and longer-term effects of the
pandemic on education systems, to explore new approaches to assure the delivery
of quality education is inevitable. Accordingly, there is a must for teachers to add
up extensive ideas and methods with their current practices to emerge better
equipped series of meaningful activities and strategies to help students thrive and
follow the pace in in this rapidly-changing world.
Through this training activity, the teachers will be equipped with the necessary
skills and knowledge to effectively deliver learning modular distance learning with
emphasis on continuous professional development for the betterment of teaching-
learning processes adaptive and interchangeable in preparation for any mode or
scheme of learning instruction.

In light with the delivery of quality education in this new normal scheme
of learning delivery, it is a must for every teacher to engage with continuous
professional development activities for the improvement of teaching and
learning.
This activity will also address the needs of teachers to incorporate certain
principles to their current practice to become more competent in their fields.

The following are the expected results from the L&D program:
WDO (learning results chain):
• Impact: 100% of the participants will be capacitated with the necessary
skills, knowledge and principles to effectively deliver any modes of learning
with emphasis on continuous professional development for the betterment
of teaching-learning processes adaptive and interchangeable in preparation
for any mode or scheme of learning instruction
• Organizational outcome: There will be a significant overall progress in terms
of teachers’ performance; The organization will be able to adapt ways and
innovations to carry out other strategies in order to address any gaps
encountered
• Outputs: Incorporation of the strategies in promoting the learners’ reading,
writing and/or numeracy skills as reflected from the developed lesson
activities
• Competencies: To effectively deliver any modes of learning with emphasis
on continuous professional development for the betterment of teaching-
learning processes adaptive and interchangeable in preparation for any
mode or scheme of learning instruction
Terminal Objectives
Enabling Objectives:
1. Equip one’s self with the strategies in meeting the educational
standards set for the new normal;
2. Discuss the interventions for bridging the gaps and intensifying
learning gains
3. Identify and apply the steps to effectively address the educational
challenges in the new normal; and
4. Use management tools to evaluate the effectivity of the applied
strategies to progress of learners’ performance.
