TRAINING DESIGN

Title: Virtual in-Service Training for Public School Teachers (March 2021)
Participants: All school personnel
Date: March 15-19, 2021

I. RATIONALE:

In pursuant with the DepEd Order Nom 12. s.2021 (Amendment to DepEd Order No. 030 s. 2020)
due to the pandemic we are facing right now information and Communication Technology Service –
Educational Technology Unit (ICTS-EdTech) conduct a virtual in-Service training to public school
teacher because school personnel must continue to grow professionally, annual in-Service training for
Teachers and School Heads is head to deepen and broaden their knowledge and skills as their tools
in delivering quality instruction.

This activity is a holistic approach to learning that strives to expand the different digital teaching
materials of the teaching personnel. This will improve intellect, personal skills and confidence of an
individual. In-service Training will play a significant role in the teaching learning process for teachers
and learners in creating a new strategy for the New Normal.

In this regard, the conduct of this activity shall strengthen the institutional operability and
functionality in teaching and order to related commitment to redefine the institutional development
plan in support of professional up keeping of faculty members including non-teachers staffs of the
organization to nurture healthy co-existence of members and the community as well.

With these goal this Virtual in-Service Training for Teachers and School Heads was
intellectualized.

II. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the five day INSET the participants shall be able to gain in depth understanding on the
updates, adjustment and innovation in coping with the challenges of the new normal time as far as their
knowledge and skills are concern.

1. Expand the participants skills and knowledge on different digital teaching material, systems and
approaches that are useful in delivering quality instruction.
2. Helps the participants to innovate and find ways on how to make teaching and learning more
exciting , engaging, effective and flexible.
3. Empowering teachers for dynamic future.

 This five day Virtual in-Service Training shall be conducted in plenary sessions observance of
