INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS
1. This is a GROUP assignment (NOT MORE THAN 3 STUDENTS PER GROUP).
2. All submissions must be in ENGLISH
3. LATE SUBMISSION will be considered as NON-SUBMISSION
4. The report needs to be attached together with TURNITIN report and GRAMMARLY
checked.
5. Minimum citation in completing this assignment is 2 NUMBERS OF CITATION.
6. The report consists of TWO (2) parts; PART A – Written Report and PART B – Video
Presentation.
7. Please rename your file with the following format: “DQS204_AP1143A_GROUP 1” upon
submission.
8. Students will be assigned with a specific building (e.g airport, shopping complex, ETS
central terminal, theme park, hospital and university etc) and use this building as a
reference to propose a suitable services system.
PART A (WRITTEN REPORT)
1. The report must include all the following contents: -
CONTENT MARKS
Building Introduction (must include details such as number of

storeys and approximate GFA of the building proposed)
Functions, Reasons, Advantage and Disadvantage (of using the

Services Proposed)
Building Service Proposal Design Plan complete with 5 of the
selected services
Hand sketched proposed services (including Labelling) - snap by 50
using camera or cam scanner and include it in the report (5
sketches)
Conclusion 10
References (Proper citation format) 10

2. The assignment must be submitted in the form of SOFTCOPY to Google Classroom/ U

Future.
3. Students must submit a copy of the report in A4 size for the written and Design Proposal
Plan with Arial 11 or Times New Roman 12 font size, 1.5 spacing and justified
margins.

PART B (VIDEO PRESENTATION)

1. Students must prepare a 5 minutes slide and video presentation based on the written
report in PART A
2. The video presentation and slide must submit together with the written report to Google
Classroom _Classwork section/ U Future.
3. The presentation should be awesomely interactive to drive excitement and engagement
but professional.
4. The marks will be given based on the information and the creative ideas of the
presentation. Therefore, students should do your best to cooperate with your classmates.
5. Students are encouraged to use any application software to assist in the video
presentation, such as PowToon, Sparkol, Animoto, Animaker, Biteable, Moovly, etc. or
any other software that is suitable.
