PRINCIPLES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP
(ENT530)
OVERVIEW
The business model canvas created by Alexander Osterwalder is a great tool to help you
understand a business model in a straightforward, structured way. Using this canvas will lead to
insights about the customers you serve; what value propositions are offered through what
channels; and how your company makes money. You can also use the business model canvas to
understand your own business model or that of a competitor.
INSTRUCTIONS
2. You need to choose ONE product/service and propose a business plan using a Business
Model Canvas.
3. You need to highlight each element in the Business Model Canvas (BMC), and propose
relevant business model and strategy. You must provide detail explanation of each

6. Use Times New Roman 12 or Arial 11 with 1.5 spacing for writing a report.
