Feasibility Confirmation of Supplier Version 9.1

Part No. : Designation:

Supplier / plant: Date:

The feasibility confirmation is based on the results of the necessary feasibility analysis conducted by the supplier.
The feasibility analysis must be present only at the supplier.

The feasibility analysis and feasibility confirmation is based on the following documents:
- part list(s), drawing(s), specifications (ordering specifications, inspection /test specifications, norms etc.)
(please list below and indicate change- / version-number)

document number: document type change- / version number:

If there is no data available from series part production at this stage of planning, please refer to existing data from similar processes / parts or from the vendor of the machine and explain these in field below.

Comments/remarks:

1 Is the product sufficiently defined to allow a feasibility study to be done?

If the answer is “no”, please add explanations (in field below):

Comments/remarks:

2 Can all requirements be met (e.g. drawing, technical specification, reliability,

standards, specifications, test, surface cleanliness, residual contamination specifications)?
If the answer is „no“, which ones can not be met?
Please specify in field below:

Comments/remarks:

3 Will required process quality / process capability be achieved for each special characteristic?
If the answer is „no“, please explain in field below:

Comments/remarks:

4 If a process capability is required but not achieved, will 100% inspection be carried out in series production?
If the answer is „no“, which ones? Please specify in field below:

Comments/remarks:

5 Is 100% inspection intended or already planned for other characteristics in series production?
If the answer is „yes“, which ones and why? Please specify in field below:
Comments/remarks:

6 Is statistical process control used for similar products?

Are these processes stable and capable?
If the answer is „no“, please explain in field below:

Comments/remarks:

7 Is the form "Component Supply Chain Chart" completely filled and attached to the feasibility confirmation?
If the answer is „no“, please explain in field below:

Comments/remarks:

8 Can you fulfill the order with the current production resources (i.e. manufacturing lines, machines)?
If the answer is "no", please explain in field below:

Comments/remarks:

9 Are there characteristics, materials or processes for which a simplification /

modification would decrease costs and/or improve quality?
If yes, please specify in field below:

Comments/remarks:
