and the other, select the icon , then confirm by pressing the key.

Use the Conv. Coefficient (kg/l) [5.2.5] menu to set the relation between kilograms an liters.

WARNING: The acquired data is always WEIGHT, even when the display is in liters.
The liters display is due to an operation linked to the settled conversion coefficient. The volume
of a liquid is affected by a variation due to temperature, so the conversion accuracy will strictly
depend on the conversion coefficient precision, based on the tank operating temperature.

Zero-setting of Total Weight

Following operation shall be done to zero the Total Weight, for instance when the System is empty:

keep the key pressed for about 3 seconds or select, through the selection keys, the icon and

confirm selection by the key.

In the DIALOG AREA the operation confirm request will be displayed: select “Yes” through the selection

keys and confirm with the key. A message will inform about the zeroing.

The last zeroing of the Total Weight can be aborted, for instance if zeroing was accidentally
done, through the Undo Tare [5.2.3]

Manual Weight Storage

If the weight acquisition mode is settled to “Manual (key +)” in the Acquisition mode [3.3] menu, the

icon will appear in the icons area. Select the icon with the selection keys and confirm with to

display.

Select the value with the selection keys and confirm by .

Weight Velocity [5.2.2]

This menu is to select the weight value refresh speed. Set a low value to select a longer refresh time.
The digital filtering, determining the weight value refresh speed, allows a reading stabilization, in case
of vibrations on the system or on its components.

Select the value with the selection keys and confirm by .

When the Dynamic option is selected, the system applies a new filtering algorithm to the weight
value. This allows high precision and stability of the weight value.

Undo Tare [5.2.3]

The display shows how the Total Weight will be after Undo Tare operation

Select the option with the selection keys and confirm by

Master Weight Calibration [5.2.4]

This Wizard is to do the system calibration using a Master Weight.
Follow the wizard steps to do the operation.
This operation may be needed when the weight displayed by the indicator is not accurate enough.

The more the Master Weight is near to the scale capacity, the higher is the calibration accuracy.
Using too light Master Weights during calibration may cause not enough accurate weight
reading.

Min. Sample Threshold [5.2.7]

This parameter is to set the minimum weight to acquire. During automatic working, the system does not
acquire weight values below the value settled in this parameter.

Unload Threshold [5.2.8]

This parameter is used during automatic working. Data are stored in memory when the system detects
a weight value below the value of this parameter.

Weighing Time [5.2.9]

The weight value shall be stable for a time higher than the value of this parameter to allow the system
to acquire valid data.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Weight Reading Problems

Out of Scale System or Weight Error

• Some “ ! ” symbols are displayed in the WEIGHT AREA and the alarm type is specified in the DIA-
LOG AREA.

a. Disconnect the weight sensor cable (CONNECTOR E) and check whether there is humidity.
If the problem is due to humidity, let the connector dry, then connect it and check the proper
operating.
b. If the error status disappears when disconnecting the weight sensor cable (CONNECTOR E),
the problem may be due to a load cell or to its cable. Check cable and sensor.
c. If the error status remains, even when disconnecting the weight sensor cable (CONNECTOR
E), contact the assistance.

Unstable Weight Value

• Disconnect the weight sensor cable (CONNECTOR E) and check whether there is humidity. If the
problem is due to humidity, let the connector dry, then connect it and check the proper operating.

Wrong Weight Value

• The system calibration through the Master Weight Calibration [5.2.4] might be necessary.

The measure is correct in Kilograms, but wrong in Liters

• Check the value of the kilograms to liters conversion coefficient. Refer to the menu Conv. Coef-
ficient (kg/l )[5.2.5].

Other Problems

Difficult Display reading

• If the display appearance is too light or too dark, access the Display Contrast [5.1.2.1] menu to
adjust the contrast.
