MICROTEACHING 2022/2023

Objectives:
In preparation for mastering the teaching competencies and the Practice Teaching Program (PPL), this
course offers students a structured teacher training program. The students master the art of teaching and
can enhance their teaching abilities through microteaching skills. This course gives the students the
opportunity to gain practical teaching experience through teaching in a real setting with their peers (peer
teaching).
The course requires the students to prepare a lesson plan, teach the English language skills to their peers
for about 20 minutes, and do self-reflection on their teaching. The students are required to teach the
English language skills twice (live and recorded).
Content:
Criteria of Evaluation
Classroom Participation : 10%
Lesson Plan : 25%
Midterm (Live Microteaching) : 30%
Final Test (Recorded Microteaching) : 35%
NOTE: Conduct the Recorded Microteaching as soon as possible. Discuss the schedule with your
team. It will be good if you have WA group.
