Extra curricular activities for the children that can be conducted on saturday :

01).Creative Art and Craft sessions - In this activity, children can be given the opportunity to
showcase and develop their creativity by creating various art pieces such as drawing,
paintings,small projects, paper crafts, etc. Materials such as paints, markers, papers, scissors,
and glue can be provided to the children as per the requirements . This activity will help the
children in developing their creativity, and imagination.

02).Sports and Game activities - Outdoor sports such as football, basketball, and cricket, as well
as indoor games such as chess, carrom etc can be organized for children in the center. This
activity will help the children to develop their physical strength as well as mental strength ,
learning teamwork, and strategic thinking.

03).Science experiments - This activity involves demonstrating simple and fun engaging
science experiments to children and teaching them the involved concepts which can be
observed in our day to day life . This activity will help the children in developing their curiosity,
problem-solving, and analytical skills.

To carry out these activities, the following steps can be taken:

01).Creating a proper schedule and time table for the activities and informing the children and
their parents about the same.
02).Arrangements for the necessary materials and resources for each activity prior to the
initialisation of activities at the center.
03).Assigning volunteers or staff to oversee and to manage and conduct each activity timely.
04).Conducting the activity in a safe, secure and comfortable environment.

The expected outcomes of these activities are as follows:

01).The children will learn new skills and develop their creativity, imagination, and critical
thinking.They will learn about unity while performing various tasks.

02).The children will develop their physical strength, mental strength ,teamwork skills , and
strategic thinking.

03).The children will develop their curiosity, problem-solving techniques and analytical
skills.They will develop their confidence, public speaking skills while engaging and interacting
with other children.

Firstly, Determine and Discuss the purpose of the full day event with all the team members.
Before planning the event, it is very important to have a clear understanding of why we are
organizing the full day event, what is the motive of our event.Understanding the purpose will
help us to plan the event accordingly.

01). Setting a budget and expenditure : Once we have determined the purpose of the event, we
need to set a budget for the event. Determine how much money we have available to spend on
the event and make a list of all the expenses that will occur, including venue rental, catering
services and required decorations.

02).Choosing a suitable venue or location for the event : Finding a suitable venue that can
accommodate the number of children and activities planned for the day. Make sure that the
venue has all the necessary facilities such as restrooms, electricity, and seating arrangements
for all the people.

03).Planning the activities: The event should include a mix of cultural events, fun activities, and
workshops that are suitable for the age group of the children. We can engage volunteers or
professionals to conduct the workshops or lead the activities.

04).Promoting the event: Promote the event through social media handles, local media , and the
official website of Aaroha.
Using posters and other marketing materials to raise awareness of the event will be very
beneficial as this will boost and encourage participation.

05).Meal plan: Children need to be provided with the food facilities at the venue accordingly.
Ensuring the catering services prior to the event day, also for this total strength must be kept in
mind.

06).Executing the event: On the day of the event, ensure that all the planned activities are
executed as per schedule. Assigning tasks to volunteers and staff to ensure smooth conduction
of the event.

At last , With proper planning , we can provide a fun engaging experience for the children that
will boost up their morale while meeting the goals of the NGO.
