Charcoal is produced by burning organic matter in low oxygen conditions, which removes elements like water and leaves mostly pure carbon. This study aims to determine if charcoal is an effective alternative to whiteboard markers by comparing the effectiveness and erasability of charcoal to common whiteboard markers. The hypothesis is that there will be no significant difference in effectiveness between charcoal and whiteboard markers. The scope is limited to testing charcoal as a whiteboard marker substitute at Linao National High School. The study hopes to find an affordable alternative to help improve classroom instruction.

Charcoal is produced by burning wood or other organic matter in a low
oxygen environment. By that means removes water and other volatile elements, allowing the finished product, the charcoal, to burn at high temperatures with very little smoke. Charcoal is mostly pure carbon, made by cooking wood with low oxygen. The process can take days and burns off volatile compounds such as water, methane, hydrogen, and tar, and leaves about 25% of black lumps and powder of the original weight. The purpose of these study is its because it has chemical component that can help the writings more accurate and effective.
Statement of the Problem
This study generally aims to determine the rate of effectiveness of Charcoal as a alternative of Whiteboard Marker. Is there ang significant difference between the common whiteboard marker with the alternative charcoal in terms of; a. Effectiveness b. To be observe if the charcoal can be erased by the normal eraser of the whiteboard
Hypothesis Hypothesis HO: There is no significant difference between the alternative charcoal with the common whiteboard marker in terms of the effectiveness.
Scope and Limitations
This study is entitled: Charcoal as an alternative of Whiteboard Marker was limited only to the use of charcoal as a whiteboard marker. This study is conducted at Linao National High School.
Significance of the Study
The researchers find this study very important for it concern with the charcoal as a alternative of whiteboard marker. This study benefits the following.
