Night safari – only one of a kind and definitely worth the visit – you can walk through the animals up close and
personal at night – it is special
Marina Bay sands – great shopping, eating and at the top is the pool shaped like a boat that you can go and view
– you can also eat at spagos if you fancy – of LA fame!
Otherwise there is cest la vie – owned by l cat and worth going for a drink definitely to see the view
I take all my guests to smoke and mirrors a bar on top of the national gallery best view in Singapore at sunset –
then you can eat down stairs at violet oon which is very famour perankan food
There is also the lantern bar on top of the Fullerton bay hotel – I love it there for a drink and nibble
Sentosa – has luge/flying fox/Ifly and heaps of sporty stuff to do – they have a beach but compared to Sydney it
is woeful.
I would however suggest you go to Tanjong beach club – private beach club with people your age eating and
dancing - you have to book
Arab Street – you can go and get your own perfume made/buy cheap materials and middle eastern stuff
Friday and Saturday night – there is a street called haji lane, closed off to cars and you can eat out side and they
have musicians – it is fun
Little India – Mustafa’s – 24 hour department store with more shit in that you can possibly think of
Mc Ritchie – rain forest walk and tree top walk – 2 hour trek through the rain forest – hot but amazing scenery
and monkeys up close
Merlion on the water – you can do a boat ride along the river
Mt Fabre is another famous walk and you can catch the cable car to Sentosa
Clarke Quay – at night – bars/drinks/clubs – best is attica and zouk so I’m told but the best and definitely worth
going to One altitude – rooftop dance party.
Foot massage, everywhere and anywhere – Singapore is open 7 days a week – till midnight
Restaurants:
Keong Saik – potato head/don ho/olivia – that is the going out street with the best restaurants and best vibe
Hawker – street food – newston circus (best and biggest hawker in Singapore – great noodles and beer) – Lau Pa
Sat is the old famous one and on Friday night there is satay alley – street closed
You have to have Singapore chilli crab – I go to red house on Robertson quay and make sure you get the bread
dumplings to go with it and soak up the sauce
Janice wong is on master chef and does the edible art – she has a booth worth tasting at paragon
Colombo restaurant on the roof at boat quay– amazing sri lankan , casual and fun and then down on the streets
are all the bars – everyone drinks and eats on the street till late.
Shopping – Marina Bay Sands, ION and Paragon are my favourites – if you are lucky the sales will be on.
I think that is a good start, if you need more, let me know and of course, depending on when you are here in
June, I can help you further.
