Your itinerary is as below:

Day 1:
Morning:
 Arrival. Purchase tourist sim card here (S$15 for 100gb x 7 days data card) payable to counter.
 Walk to JEWEL, attached to Changi Airport Terminal 1 to see the world largest indoor waterfall
(free). Have a meal at the basement food court (cheap food) or at any of the of eateries there.
Take a taxi/ train from here to the city, taxi will cost around S$30 and the train costs S$3.
 Arrival at accommodation

Afternoon and evening:

 Civic district and bay area. Lots of walking.
o Get off at Raffles Place MRT station, first stop UOB plaza, to visit 1altitude a rooftop bar
(S$30 inclusive of 2 drinks, tickets to be bought from us) for a gorgeous view of the city
from above.
o Walk to Fullerton Hotel, a converted colonial post office which houses the Fullerton
Hotel now. Beautiful architecture both indoors and outdoors.
o Walk to Asia Civilisation Museum located opposite the Fullerton Hotel, to take pictures
of the exterior for Instagram pictures. Sample a traditional Singapore ice cream
sandwich to cool off in the afternoon heat.
o Walk to Parliament house (behind the Asia Civilisation Museum) and enjoy the old
colonial buildings on the way. There is a statue of the founder of Singapore Sir Stanford
Raffles here should you wish to take pictures with him. His name is now associated with
many top institutions and schools in the country.
o Walk to the National Gallery (child section is interactive and free, many seats) to cool
off/ avoid the afternoon sun. The National Gallery is housed in the old supreme court so
take your time to enjoy the architecture and various free exhibits. Visit the museum
store for interesting souvenirs.
o Walk to Saint Andrew’s Cathedral, an old Anglican church located in the middle of the
city. Free tours of the church are available here upon request and if the volunteers are
free. Note that this church is on top of City Hall MRT station and located opposite to
Raffles City where you can find a food court/ restaurants/ Macdonalds to eat at. Take
lunch/ tea here.
o Walk to War Memorial Park (WW2 memorial), it is visible from afar, looks like 4 sticks.
The 4 sticks represent the 4 races (Chinese, Indian, Malay, Eurasians) who suffered
under Japanese rule and whose men died in war.
o Walk to the Cenopath, a WW1 memorial opposite the War memorial park. Very good
for Instagram pictures
o Walk along the bay from the Cenopath to the Esplanade theatre. It looks like 2 big fly
eyes from afar and is also known affectionally as “the durian” due to it’s resemblance to
the King of Fruits. Free performances are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
and there are many eateries here (very expensive). Makansutra (local food center,
priced cheaply) is located next to it.
o Walk towards Merlion Park across the Jubilee Bridge to take pictures with the world
famous Merlion (visible from the esplanade).
o Walk back to the Esplanade for tea.
o Walk to Marina Bay Sands across the double helix bridge. Take pictures at the Art-
Science Museum (exterior) and enter Marina Bay Sands. Optional: Head up to Marina
Bay Sands Skypark (S$21, tickets purchasable from us) for a beautiful evening view of
the bay, I recommend this activity as the city skyline looks amazing from above. Marina
Bay Sands has an MRT station located underneath for easy access to the train system.

Night:
 Explore Bugis Village, located at Bugis MRT station. You may purchase souvenirs here and prices
are not fixed. Alternatively, you may shop at the many shopping centres surrounding Bugis MRT
station.
 Head home.

Day 2
Morning:
 Explore Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam (Malay village) at your own pace. At least 1-2
hours per segment is recommended.
 The British segregated the 4 races during colonial times, each race was given their own section
of town, set far apart from each other so we could not mingle and rebel against our colonial
masters. Fortunately, this didn’t work out in their favour and now here we stand, a proud
independent nation.
 Chinatown, located at Chinatown MRT station, was the enclave of the Chinese population of
Singapore. Fun fact, Pagoda Street was the home of multiple “death houses” where people
spent their old age waiting for death to claim them, these houses have been restored and used
for business. It is also home to the cheapest Michelin starred hawker stall, Uncle Chan. He has
now opened a restaurant chain after receiving his Michelin star but still operates his now world-
famous hawker stall in the afternoon. His store is located near the Buddah Tooth Temple in the
Hawker center and operates from 11am-2pm. There is also a Hindu temple and a mosque
located next to the Buddah Tooth Temple and most visitors find this very amusing. These places
of worships are free to enter.
 Little India, located at Little India MRT station, was and still is the enclave of Indians. You can
find the 24-hour shopping centre Mustafa here and many Hindu temples. Sample some bryanni
and prata before you go and visit a temple or two to soak up the atmosphere.
 Kampong Glam, the malay village, located at Bugis MRT station. Kampong Glam is the traditional
Malay-Muslim quarter of Singapore, and today is an interesting mix of old Malay culture and
young modern local culture. It's a lovely area for a quiet stroll, taking in the sights and smells,
and browsing the cute little shops and cafes.
Afternoon:
 Gardens by the bay (S$25, tickets bought from us), enjoy the afternoon in air-conditioned
conservatories of gardens by the bay, stay till 7.45pm (repeats at 8.45pm) for a free light show
in the Super trees grove. Be there early to get a good seat to view the free light show (sit in the
centre not at the foot of the trees to get the best view). Not many dining options are available
here except for Macdonalds.

Night:
 Walk over to Marina Bay Sands (accessible via overhead bridge) to watch the free light show at
8pm (repeats at 9pm, 10pm on Friday, Saturday). Head home from here.

Day 3
Morning and Afternoon
 Universal Studios Singapore (S$69, tickets purchasable from us). It is located within Sentosa
island and all rides are included in the ticket price. Dine at Malaysian food street (located just
outside Universal Studios Singapore) for a cheaper and more authentic dining experience. The
theme park opens at 10am.
 The government charges S$4 to use the Sentosa Express to get into Sentosa. Coming out of
Sentosa via the Sentosa Express is free. The Sentosa Express is located at Harbourfront station.
You may choose to walk to Sentosa instead (15 minutes’ walk) via the boardwalk located just
outside Harbourfront station as this is free of charge.
 Alternatively, you may take a cable car into Sentosa (S$21, tickets purchasable from us) which
includes a 2-way transfer in and out of Sentosa.

Night
 Option A: Watch the Wings of Time show (S$15, tickets purchasable from us)
 Option B: Go for a go kart ride at the Ludge & Sky Ride (S$19, tickets purchasable from us)
 Head home from Sentosa
