Besides the benefits of studying abroad, there are still some disadvantages
that people who plan to study overseas should be aware. Firstly, language
barriers can be a noteworthy problem. When people go to a new place where
it does not use their native language, their communication will have numerous
difficulties in daily life as well as in studying. For example, in classes, teachers
will use other languages without a native language of students studying
abroad, which will cause problems in understanding and acquiring knowledge.
In addition, an undeniable fact is that studying abroad is quite expensive. Even
when people gain scholarships, the types of costs such as commuting, tuition,
room and board, books and supplies are higher compared to inland study. As a
negative result, this may put a heavy financial burden on those students.

noteworthy benefit is increased job chances. These days, most good jobs all
require college degrees as a minimum. To take a specific example, to become a
teacher, people need a university degree about education as a basic

For instance, to become a doctor, people must be equipped with medical

tertiary education. Therefore, university is the most suitable environment for
people to cultivate and enrich their knowledge and skills before starting their
careers.

In fact, compared to students in university education, students in vocational
school will be prioritized to learn more practical skills, which are essential for
the workplace and highly appreciated by employers. This will support them in
increasing their competitive capacity in the job market. Besides, another
critical factor is less tuition and time in vocational education compared to
studying at university. Normally, vocational education solely lasts around two
years while to possess a university degree, students need to attend at least
four years. Obviously, this benefit helps students save significantly time,
money and effort. They can join in making money early to support their family.
With these benefits, it is easily understandable why vocational school is also a
perfect choice no less a university education.
