Nowadays many students prefer to study at a university abroad.

Although there are a few drawbacks

of studying in a foreign country, I believe that this is a positive choice along with many other benefits.

Studying abroad can be advantageous for many students. They can develop themselves in different
ways. For example, they are provided with world class education because of the advanced
technology and plenty of resources all those first world countries has to offer. Apart from this second
reason is the kind of exposure we get there as a student. For instance, while studying in a prestigious
institute you meet people from all over the world. You get to know about different cultures and
languages. Furthermore, graduating from an internationally recognised university will get you better
work opportunities all around the world.

On the darker side, there are some difficulties overseas students might face. International
universities can be extremely expensive from the application to the tuition fees. For example, cost of
studying in a university abroad could be 3 to 4 times more expensive than your native country. In
addition the cost of living is also much more. Many students have a huge amount of student loan and
have to work part time jobs in order to afford their education. Which ultimately lead to increase in
stress levels of the students.

In conclusion, I believe that studying abroad has both advantages as well as disadvantages. Overall it
is a wise decision for a student to study abroad in a good, internationally recognised university rather
than a national university, as it has several advantage.
