table tennis equipment is established by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF),
which is the organization that makes sure that national table tennis competitions are fair.
Table Tennis Table
The table tennis dimensions has to be a rectangle that is 2.74 meters (9 feet) in
length and 1.525 meters (5 feet) in width. The table has to be horizontally parallel
to the floor, exactly 76 (2.5 feet) centimeters above from the floor.

When you play table tennis, it is important to have sufficient room size for the ping
pong table in order to have good playing experience and enjoy the game. A typical full-
size TT table has a width of 5 feet and a length of 9 feet. So, a table tennis room size
should be a little more than that. If you are a beginner, then 5 to 6.5 feet space and 3.3
feet should be appropriate behind each end line and sideline respectively. When you
are planning to buy the TT table, then having another 3.3 feet at every end and 1.64
feet at every side would be a comfortable option. The court size of national events is
typically 16.4 feet wide and 39.4 feet in length. So, if your table tennis room size is
somewhere around that, you can play easily. Space should not be less than 32.8* 13.1
feet.
