Appointment for the post of Vice-Chancellor

Vice Chancellor of
Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT),Pune (Deemed University)

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is a Deemed University funded by Deptt. of

Defence R&DD with the mandate to provide higher education, training and conduct research and
development in the emerging areas of relevance to Defence Technologies.

Applications are invited for the post of Vice Chancellor, DIAT carrying basic pay of Rs. 2,10,000 2,10,000/-
(Fixed) per month alongwith Dearness Allowance on it plus special pay of Rs. 11,250-
11,250 per month as per
UGC guidelines. The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of five years or till attaining the age of
70 years whichever is earlier.

The candidates should possess the highest level of competence, integrity & institutional commitment and should
be Distinguished Academician with a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Professor in a University or 10
years of experience in an equivalent positi

on in a reputed research and/or academic administrative
organization.
