61. Housekeeping service – who doesn’t love this one – I wish more people would gift one
or two hours of housekeeping services to me, personally, as a Christmas or birthday gift –
always appreciated.

62. Magazine subscription – my go-to is Veranda, Architectural Digest or Coastal Living –


the monthly cost is marginal – the impact and number of impressions is high – I love
landing in my client’s mailbox every month.

63. Golf lessons – this closing/client retention gift worked well as a real estate broker on
Hilton Head Island, SC – if you are closing homes in golf communities as primary or second
homes, this is an excellent mainstay.

64. Movie theater gift cards – a book of 12 would be optimal – your client will love using for
date night or family night with the children.

65. Google Home Assistant – what a fun closing gift or repeat business/referral client gift –
a useful family toy!

66. Apple Watch – high end gift – keep in your arsenal for high repeat/referral clients – I
have given six (6) as gifts to date – the referral loyalty of those six clients yield 5-figure
word-of- mouth annual referral revenue.

67. Fishing rod - self-explanatory – deep-sea – fly-fishing – know your client. 68. Tackle box
& bait – ditto #67 above – self-explanatory - know your client.

69. Refrigerated wine storage for kitchen – above or under counter refrigerated wine
storage is an inexpensive, elegant client retention gift wine lovers will appreciate.

70. Outdoor grill tool set – if you know your client well, and you know they are tailgaters or
grillers – this is a sure-fire win.

71. Porch swing – for those clients in the low country of South Carolina and many other
parts of the south, spending time on a porch swing is an essential everyday part of life –
also in Maine, Vermont and anywhere coastal - your clients will LOVE you!

72. Board game(s) – a selection of traditional and contemporary board games is a lovely,
simple client retention gift – Monopoly – Scrabble – Checkers – Chess - select a few that are
child- friendly and a few grownup favorites.

73. Popcorn maker – the great room – the media room – the family room – the man cave –
this small appliance make for happy family movie nights and weekends.

74. Play dough – if your clients have little ones in the 3 – 5 age range – what an easy way to
bring a smile to the face of someone who is important to them – I’ve done it!
75. One year Amazon Prime membership – another one of my personal favorites – and if
your client is a high repeat/referral client, I would consider renewing the membership each
year – at $99 that’s less than $10 dollars a month investment in a high revenue generating
client – and every time they order from Amazon (and pay no delivery charges) or stream a
movie through Prime – they will think of you.

76. Maine lobster tails – delivered via The Fresh Lobster Company, Gloucester,
Massachusetts –www.thefreshlobstercompany.com - a 5-star winner – reserve for your
high end/luxury property client who provide consistent repeat/referral business.

77. Fireplace tool set – for clients with wood-burning fireplaces in their primary or
second/vacation home – I love this as a closing gift – or simply a random gesture to my
repeat/referral current/past clients.

78. Outdoor grill – perfect for your clients with a lovely terrace/deck who entertain
frequently – if you hear they are hosting a block party or neighborhood gathering, drop off
the grill and tell them “its yours”!

79. Nest Learning Thermostat/Nest Thermostat E – this is a hands-down winner for a


closing gift and/or repeat/referral business client – not too expensive – high impact.

80. Radon detector – an inexpensive investment – highly appreciated by clients
