1. Remove covers. (Refer to Disassembling procedure for Feed Unit.)

2. Remove 2 pcs. of screws 1 (D semusu M3X6) and remove NP cover.

3. Remove 2 pcs. of screws 2 (D semusu M3X8) and remove Note Guide F.

4. Remove 3 pcs. of screws 3 (D semusu M3X6) which fixing board bracket.

5. Remove 2 pcs. of screw 4 (D semusu M3X8) and remove Note Guide R.

8. Loosen 3 pcs. of Screw 1(Flat D Semusu M3X6).

9. Adjust the position of Motor Ass’y so that the deflection (bend) is 8.5 to 9.5mm
with load of 300gf applied center of the belt.

10. Secure Motor Ass’y by 3 pcs. of screws.

1. Reassemble the parts in reverse order to disassembling.
0.8≦a≦1.2
2. When mounting Feed Guide, be sure the gaps between Feed Guide and Feed
Rollers are 0.8mm to 1.2mm at 5 points as illustration above.

3. If the gap isn’t within the range, the guide may be bend.

2. Adjust the position of Tension Bracket so that the deflection (bend) is 5.5 to
6.5mm with load of 2N (200gf) applied center of the belt as illustration above.

3. Tighten 2 pcs. of Screw 1.

4. Adjustment of Motor Speed is needed after adjustment of Tension for Belt.

1. Loosen the Nut 1(Nut with Flange M4), turn eccentric shaft 2 and adjust
0≦a≦0.2 distance both side of eccentric shaft at Feed Unit.

2. Gently press the Guide to the direction of arrow mark and make sure that
distance is within the adjustment value.

1. Adjust the Dial to the widen gap of Roller.

2. Insert adjustment paper to L side of Feed Roller and Separate Roller as the
picture above. With holding the knob A, pull off the paper.

3. Adjust gap until finger feel slightly friction.

4. Check gap R side as same method as above 1. If pull the paper feeling from
gap different L side and R, adjust parallelism of gap first and adjust gap again.
(Refer to 4-1-12)

Factory standard adjustment:


Factory measure the gap by tension gauge. Adjust gap to show 150 to 160g
on the tension gauge when pull the paper.

4. Check feeding condition by count more than 100 pcs. of notes and make sure
the feeding is smoothly.

In case near feed reject occurs, turn the adjustment dial to anti-clockwise.
In case of intermittence feeding, turn the dial to clockwise.
Maintenance
5. Check Skew feeding condition by Maintenance Mode.

※ Depending on the note condition, there is possibility of skew feeding or


intermittence feeding.
※ If the gap is too tight, it may increase the rate of note jam at feeding section.

Maintenance 6. Enter Maintenance Mode [6.Ajustment] → [2.Feed Read].

7. Count 100 pcs of notes or test notes.

8. Press “ “key to show Skew display. Make sure that the peak is 0 and the
skew is less than 9.

9. If skew is more than 9 or peak is not 0, adjust parallelism of gap.

10. Loosen 2 pcs. of screw 1 and put Minus Driver in hole “A” to change the plate
of position indicated by arrow mark.
(Plate up: L side of gap is wide. Plate down: L side of gap is narrow.)

11. Adjust parallelism until display shows skew less than 9° and peak 0.

1. Loosen 2 pcs each Screw 1(set screw M4X4)and screw 2(set screw M4X4).

2. Adjust so that the left and right gaps between rubber part of Feed Roller and
Separate Roller and tighten 2 pcs of Screw 2, while pushing Timing Pulley to
the direction of arrow mark.

3. Push the Knob to the direction of arrow mark and tighten 2 pcs of Screw 1.

※Be sure Feed Roller and Separate Roller have no play to left and right.
