A peaceful transformation

I’ll never forget the first day I stepped college and all that would entail since then. The
learning process, but also the personal one made me grow and mature to become a
better version of myself. If we had imagined and controlled the adventure, it wouldn’t
have been so rewarding.

Firstly, studying away from home took me away from my environment and therefore I
had to make new friends and meet a new place. In my case, I lived in a flat shared with
unknown roommates although bit by bit they became the family that one chooses.

University stage is an ideal time to socialize with people who are more or less your age,
who share your interests and they also have the need to know each other. If I hadn’t
chosen to leave home to study, I wouldn’t have lived all these experiences.

College is more than just going to class, but what also matters are the activities that are
organized on campus and the beer after class. In addition to this, that’s what will all you
be sociable. If I hadn’t graduated from college, I wouldn’t have known this wonderful
person. Marie, who at the same time shared flat and studies with me, was transcendent.
What I admire the most is friendship and respect we have had for each other.

Finally, have you ever heard about an amulet? Personally, I had already it. We helped a
lot to study, to exchange notes, work as a team but especially to be a point of emotional
support since she was who sheltered me when I had painful days.

In conclusion, as far as I’m concerned, having this friend has been vital. We currently
work in the same area and exchange a lot of information like we were students. If only I
hadn’t met Marie, I wouldn’t feel like I had completed a work and life circle. Moreover,
in general, I’ve been lucky with friends and I’ve met some really nice people.
