1. How are sustainability achieved?

One of the most important areas of the green movement is the concept of sustainability – achieving
a goal or balancing your needs now with future needs. Sustainability is something that’s achieved on
many levels, from individual to global. Simple principles can help you attain sustainability, but there
are many additional things you can do that will have no negative consequences. Sustainable
agriculture is a fantastic strategy to attain long-term sustainability. As a result, farms are able to
produce more food while using less energy and producing less waste. In terms of personal
sustainability, it’s critical to examine your own lifestyle choices to determine whether you can lower
your carbon footprint without sacrificing your happiness.

Sustainability, on the other hand, is a collective effort. To attain overall sustainable living around the
globe, we must be able to collaborate with one another. In order for this concept to flourish on a
larger size, this may imply working individually or collaboratively on a worldwide basis. For example,
you can take steps to be more sustainable in your lifestyle by buying used furniture and skipping the
unnecessary use of electricity for entertainment purposes. At a larger scale, countries around the
world are pushing for sustainable production and consumption by cutting back on certain initiatives
like air conditioning.

Only if people are prepared to put in the effort can sustainability be accomplished. This is due to the
fact that, as previously said, the concept of sustainability is dependent on a variety of elements
ranging from individual choices to global cooperation. Sustainability can theoretically be achieved
without diminishing the amount of energy available for consumption. The success of this strategy,
however, is contingent on the amount of resources produced and consumed. Our ability to attain
sustainability will be determined by the balance of energy and resources we already have versus
those we currently use. Another reason why people must participate in sustainability is that it
focuses on forecasting future demands based on existing conditions. This involves leveraging current
technologies and resource management practices to plan for the future.

2. Is global food security achievable?

Global food security is achievable , according to a new report from the World Resources Institute
and the International Center for Development Policy. This is because 100 percent of people on
Earth’s population will soon be able to access enough food to live healthy lives, as more than 3
billion people around the world are expected to gain access to sufficient nutrition by 2050. The
estimates of global markets and yields were made with data from recent decades of crop
production, price fluctuations, and average levels of consumption across countries.
For me the most important question is not, can we feed the world? The real question should be
“Why are there people starving today?” If the explanation is that market volatility has caused food
price hikes, then food security for all appears to be a pipe dream unless we solve the issue of market
volatility.

There’s no doubt that global food security is achievable in our lifetimes. But in order to achieve this
goal, we need to work together, we need to increase the amount of food we grow, and do so in a
way that uses land and other resources more efficiently. But there is also a lot we can do as
individuals at a local level too. For example, climate change effects rainfall patterns which affects
farmers’ crops which then causes food shortages. One way to ensure food security is to research
new drought-resistant crops. Another one is to ensure that small-scale farmers are protected. For
instance, poverty alleviation within food producing countries would allow the world to feed
everyone without having to enlarge the area nourishing crops for livestock.
