Removal, installation
1 Remove cover on front seat backrest Remove only up to step 11 AR91.18-P-1820K
2 Unscrew screws (3) and remove covering (2)
from backrest frame (1)
3 Unhook control cables (4 and 5) from release
lever and backrest frame (1, arrows)
4 Open cable straps (6)
5 Unclip control cable mounts (arrows) on left
and right inner backrest fittings and remove
6 Unhook control cables (4 and 5) from release When installing ensure that control
lever (arrows) and remove cables (4 and 5) are routed and fastened
properly in the backrest frame (1)
7 Install in opposite order Adjust control cables (4 and 5) with
adjustment sleeves (7 and 8) so that idle
travel of 0 - 1 mm is present at the lower
release levers when the backrest is locked
(driving position)
8 Check for proper function
