EFFECTIVITY OF COFFEE POWDER AS

FERTILIZER IN CROPS PRODUCTION

Introduction

The goal of the Research is to develop organic fertilizers

that can be used in all variety of soil types, natural
disasters influence and damage land masses and crop
output, which can result in nutrient loss in soil and plant
death, which are the main problems of the farmers.
Methane is produced by coffee every year around 23
million tons of discarded coffee are produced. Farmers’
issues will be solved by using coffee powder in fertilizer.
Crops will grow quicker with an inexpensive fertilizer
that is simple to apply to the soil, providing safe
chemicals and healthy crop yield. Garden pest such as
snails, slugs, and ants are naturally deterred by it. The
study will provide solutions to farmers' crop production
and contribute to the organic and healthy food that our
bodies require by experimenting and analyzing.

Objectives:
1. ) To determine the impact of combining coffee powder with
various types of soil.
2. ) To find solution to the farmers' soil issues with their plants.

3. ) To determine whether plants have characteristics that

prevent them from participating in the experiment.

4. ) To determine what changes are required to make the study

successful.

5. ) To investigate the nutritional value of coffee powder when

mixed with plant as fertilizer.

Research Questions:
1. ) What technique will ensure the success of your coffee-based
fertilizer experiment?

2. ) Is it possible to use coffee powder to make organic fertilizer?

3. ) Is coffee powder better than no fertilizer in growing plants?

4. ) What are changes occur when mixing coffee powder into

soil?
