DALE CONE OF EXPEIENCES

 Is a visual model that is compose of 11 stages starting from concrete


experience at the bottom of the cone then it becomes more and more
abstract as it reach the peak of the cone

 the arrangement in the cone is not based on difficulty but rather based on
abstraction on the number of senses involve the experiences in each stages

EXBIHITS
 It start from concrete to abstract and with this different components in this
level the experiences, meanings, and ideas are presented to a learners on
a more abstract manner.
 This experience allows the students to see meaning and relevance of
things based on the different pictures and representations presented.
 The most common way to provide learning opportunities are visiting
exhibits in educational outlets like museum

TELEVISION, MOTION PICTURE-

 It implies values and messages through televisions and films.


 It enables learners to process real-life events through on-screen
recording.
 These are abstract experiences because learners focus on observation
rather than active participation it result for the learners to have a little or
no opportunity to participate in or use senses other than seeing and
hearing.

AUDIO RECORDING AND STILL PICTURES-

 are visuals and audio devices that can be use in a group of learners that
could enhance extend learning experience

VISUAL SYMBOLIC-
 this level the charts, maps, graphs, and diagram are used for abstract
representation.
 This helps to make any reality into something easier to understand. It
includes simple illustrations that do not include any unnecessary details.

VERBAL SYMBOLIC-

 it does not involve visual representations or clues to their meanings mostly


the things involves in this level are words, ideas, principles, formula.
 It is highly abstract, it has bear no physical resemblance to the objects or
ideas they stand for

VISUAL SYMBOL AND VERBAL SYMBOL-

 the visual symbolic and verbal symbolic these two levels are more complex
and abstract among all the components of the cone of experience

People generally remembered 10% of what they read, 20% of what they hear,
30% of what they see, 50% of they see and hear, 70% of what they say and write,
90% of what they do as they perform a task

THE OUTCOMES

The rest- define describe, list and explain

Through this Dale Cone of Experiences the teachers would be able to balance the
task to be given to the students and the educational technologies to be carried
out to do the tasks
