reason why.

In our community, lambat, lambanog and palayok are quite famous here. We even
celebrate a festival honoring these products called lambayok festival. Festivals in
the Philippines are something we Filipinos can be proud of. Vibrant banderitas,
street parades, and extravagant banquets mark each occasion. In San Juan,
Batangas, we celebrate the Lambayok festival on 12th of december. The Lambayok
Festival commemorates the municipality of San Juan's establishment. It also
honors the area's three key industries which are lambanog (coconut wine), palayok
(clay pot), and lambat (fish net). The latter applies not just to the thriving marine
sector, but also to the popular beach resorts that draw visitors to San Juan.
