 Design and Development of Automotive Lighting Components for Motorcycles and Scooters like Head Lamp, Tail lamp,
Position Lamp, DRL’s, Indicators & Fog lamps and all other lighting components for Motorcycles and Scooter.
 Working from clay model feasibility through to production launch.
 Engineering, developing and Executing world-class automotive lamp systems that meet styling intent and are compliant
to regulatory requirements.
 Collaborate with Hero’s design/styling team developing function layouts that meet legal compliance and support the
design theme integrating feasible solutions for new technology adoption.
 Lead cross functional integration of lighting systems with the Hero MotoCorp design/styling team, engineering teams
such as body, exteriors, Electronics and manufacturing as well as with Hero supply chain teams and supplier engineers to
achieve technical feasible designs.
 Study and Understanding the Initial Sketch Concept with all internal stakeholders for Technical feasibility.
 Constructing Rough internal lighting packaging with scan data by using different technologies as per styling intent to
estimate overall internal packaging and cost as well.
 Coordinates with Suppliers and conducts regular reviews with designers, optical engineers, electrical engineers, tooling
engineers, manufacturing engineers and quality engineer.
 Effectively communicates design direction with the project team, Internal Stake holders, manufacturing, quality
communities &Vender Development and with support from engineering management as required.
 Facilitated the design related needs with processes optimization of parts development, Cost reduction, quality check,

 Design and development of functional Lighting Parts Head light, Tail light, Blinkers and wiring harness
by closely working with supplier.
 Carrier out complete vehicle integration.
 Electric motor hub and battery outlook design as per Styling requirement.
 Preparing drawing, Bill of materials for component and product level for final mass production.

1) Hero Glamour 125cc bike Exterior Body cover Fairing parts.
2) Hero Maestro edge 125cc Scooter Exterior Body cover Fairing parts.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

 Carried out Detail study on Styling Surfaces as per Engineering requirements, understanding of tooling feasibility,
assembly feasibility and preparing PPT to studio as per given input.
 Formulate the assembly sequence and developing master sections for mounting features based on the assembly processes
by using environmental data
 Building prototypes (Rapid & Silicon) and Assemble the parts with vehicle for better fit and finish and other functional
requirements for improvements as per vehicle level.
 Creating 2D drawing for development of plastic body parts with considering all the parameters and releases the drawing
in PLM for mass production.
 Preparing bill of material (BOM), Part catalogue, and gap specification sheet for Assembly mockup
 Working closely with testing and analysis team to achieve better quality product in terms of design.

Worked for Pioneer design engineering Pvt ltd for Interior Door trims.
 Developing tooling direction for ‘A’ surface and Performing Draft Analysis for checking tangency errors and
manufacturing feasibility.
 Recommended 2D proposals for the Door substrate. Developing mounting features like bosses, doghouse, clips, &
guides, snap fits as per assembly feasibility to achieve good fit and finish.
 Design modifications as per manufacturing feasibility, assembly feasibility, and other requirements.
 Creating 2D drawing with considering all the parameters.

Academic Project:
 Design and modeling of axial micro gas turbine with CATIA V5.
 Thermal and structural analysis of disc brake by using finite element method.
 Implant trying and certificate programs in CATIA V5 in central institute of tool designing.
