Key Result Areas:

● Create detailed designs and specifications for mechanical components, systems, and
products.
● Utilize CAD software to develop 2D and 3D models of mechanical designs.
● Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure designs are
feasible and meet project requirements.
● Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
● Analyze test data and make necessary design modifications based on results.
● Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate mechanical designs for
strength, stability, and performance.
● Use finite element analysis (FEA) tools to predict behavior under different conditions.
● Plan and manage projects from concept to completion, including setting milestones and
tracking progress.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and
within budget.
● Work closely with electrical engineers, software engineers, and other team members to
integrate mechanical components into complex systems.
● Communicate design concepts, ideas, and technical details through reports, presentations,
and discussions.
● Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet
quality standards.
● Assist in selecting materials, manufacturing methods, and processes.

● Identify and resolve technical issues during design, testing, and production phases.
● Analyze root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
● Evaluate existing products and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, cost
reduction, and enhanced performance.

two-wheelers a year and will create over 10,000 jobs. A testament to Indian manufacturing and the ‘Make
in India’ mission, this factory will be our global hub from which serve not just our home market in India but
also export to our key markets across Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. This is the
first of our factories and will be used to make our range of electric scooters and other electric
two-wheelers. Over time, we aim to manufacture a range of electric vehicles across 2 and 4 wheeler
categories.

In addition to the factory itself, we are also investing heavily into developing local IP across the core
technologies including batteries and electric motors, which will help our country become AatmaNirbhar on
these critical aspects of the EV value chain and catalyze an indigenous supply chain for them.

including the IHS Markit Innovation award at CES and the German Design Award.
