 Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1) HSE
• Educational
Conduct interactive sessions
Qualification with contractors/contract employee
& Experience
to promote HSE policy
• Ensure timely closure of safety actions pertaining to incident investigation,
SMT tours & safety audits
• Ensure that safety procedures are being followed at site
2) Resolution of Customer Complaints
• Improve efficiency of Emergency Response Team
• Ensure availability of all requisite tools, services and tackles
3) Liaise with Internal Stakeholder
• Planning - Provide inputs for Annual Budget and Certify measurements for the
contracts/bills
• Project Team - Provide timely intimation of proposed gas line/ asset diversion,
commissioning
• HSE Team
• Asset Integrity - Take suggestions for deviations from COP at site execution
• CRM - Provide necessary information to resolve customer complaints
4) Liaise with External Stakeholders
• Communicate with contractors regarding site requirements
• Ensure timely receipt of permit of work from statutory authorities & maintain
necessary licenses of assets so as to be compliant
• Maintain good relations with other utility companies
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints
5) Breakdown/Preventive Maintenance (PNG/CNG)
• Ensure availability of spares for preventive maintenance by regular follow-up
with Planning Team
• Ensure Execution of CNG/PNG equipment maintenance as per schedule
• Ensure minimum breakdown after effective preventive maintenance

6) Overall Monitoring of Gas Receiving Station Operations
• Ensure maintenance of equipment installed at gas receiving station as per
schedule.
• Ensure daily monitoring of critical parameters of the system
• Maintain the Gas receiving station as per PNGRB guideline
• Ensure gas drawl from the station as per the allocation quantity
• Ensure calibration of safety critical elements/instruments as per schedule
7) Steel O&M activities
• Ensure steel pipe laying and testing of new steel valves and steel pipes
as per procedure
• Prepare NROs and follow up for approval from competent authority for activities
like steel pipeline laying, steel valve replacement above ground modification
and diversions
• Ensure adequate resources for job execution
• Availability of materials such as steel pipe and fittings in stores
• Ensure corrosion mitigations by keeping contracts for painting
and coating in place
• Ensure repair of damaged steel pipelines and cleaning and maintenance of
steel valve chambers
8) Review
• Review of different processes from safety and technical point of view
• Identify gaps in present system and set guidelines

9) Quality Qualification & Experience

• Prepare a plan according to gaps identified in operation
and maintenance procedures
• Implement plan for ensuring correct rectification of gaps
• Monitor progress on closure of gaps and analyse the performance of equipment
• Ensure complete documentation on improvement process
10) Contract Management & Labour Compliance
• Managing of contract related matters & ensuring labour compliance for smooth
functioning of operation & maintenance as per HSSE compliance
• Monitor Contractor’s performance as per contractual terms & conditions
11) Inventory Management
• Ensure minimum inventory level & material reconciliation of inventory physical
stock with SAP records
• Ensure proper storage & disposal of used material as per HSSE policies
• Return of surplus / non-moving items to store thus maintaining
optimum inventory
12) Manpower Management
• To lead, motivate, empower staff (MGL & Contract) & regular performance
feedback from the staff
• Facilitate a conducive work environment that ensures high employee
engagement levels at the Site
13) Documentation
• Maintain all documents and asset monitoring reports
• Maintain ISO documents and statutory documents as per policy
